3.3206The most extruded aluminum alloy in Europe — optimized for complex thin-walled extrusion profiles. Lower Mg+Si content than 6063/6082 provides excellent extrudability at moderate strength (UTS ~215 MPa T6). Good corrosion resistance, anodizability (decorative quality), and weldability. The default material for window/door frames, curtain wall mullions, railing systems, heat sinks, LED lighting profiles, and general architectural extrusions. EN AW-6063 is the closest ASTM equivalent.

3.1355Classic high-strength aerospace aluminium alloy (Al-Cu-Mg). Excellent fatigue resistance — the standard choice for aircraft fuselage skins and wing tension members. Poor corrosion resistance and weldability. Often supplied with Alclad cladding for corrosion protection. In use since 1931.
